Comment: Gate house guy was OK. Guy in warehouse was good - he took my keys then told me to go back to my cab and they'll tip me. Prefer to tip myself because they take ages.
Comment: Typical Aldi layout - pull up outside security and they'll book you in and tell you where to go. The gatehouse staff are alright, and usually friendly. Yard speed is 5MPH and some of the yard staff (Shunters) enforce it, but not many lorries are happy crawling along at walking pace, especially the nes driven by Aldi drivers . .
It's a self-tip site, unless you tell them you've not been there before, where-upon they'll eventually get around to tipping you, usually after hours of waiting. Pallet trucks are hit-and-miss with most being left uncharged by previous drivers.
There's a pair of Porta-Potty style toilets just inside the door to the warehouse (Chilled) which are guaranteed to give you wet boots by the amount of over-splash by those who've used them previously; much better to wait and use the one at the back of the gatehouse instead.
I've never been to the canteen at this location so can't comment about it.
