Comment: Having been recently built the place is spacious, with plenty of space to park and manoeuvre in the yard. Bay assignment is given from the Transport Office, and the staff there are hit and miss. Some are polite (mostly the guys) and the others are miserable (mostly the women).
For chilled you drive around the back where there's always another lorry blocking your way because they're opening or closing their trailer doors not understanding they can be done in front of the bays.
Tipping your own trailer can either be quick or take ages; all depending on the state of charge of the pallet truck you've chosen. On one occasion I had to change trucks 4 times due to them all having a very low state of charge; this is the fault of the people using them, and not putting them on charge, not Lidl. Their staff do clear the lines quickly once counted so at least you can tip in front of your bay.
Once done you drive around to the office again and park up while you wait for your paperwork, which could mean a 2 hour+ wait. (This used to be my regular run, where I would tip here, then go to Tesco Doncaster and tip there, then drive back here to pick up my paperwork.)
There's a paper cup vending machine and a water fountain, even a few uncomfortable chairs to sit on, in the open plan drivers area.
Toilets are usually clean despite the number of people using them who seem more akin to just pissing on the floor and up the walls.
