Comment: As a visiting driver go through the gates and pass the staff car park, then the office, but because there's nowhere to park here you have to drive past the building, past the fuel pumps, into the yard proper, and find a space that's doesn't block anything else. Once parked, lock your doors, then walk all the way back to the front again to see where they want you to go!
The staff in the Transport Office are mostly good, and will deal with you in a friendly and professional manner. The office itself is well maintained with kitchen facilities including kettle, microwave, etc.
The toilets are also well maintained and despite being shared with the warehouse staff are usually very clean with a corporate decor.
Just past the toilets is the staff rest area which is also very clean and well maintained. There's plenty of tables and chairs along with the usual paper cup vending machines, and 4 or 5 unhealthy snack vending machines. The prices are actually very good, and seem to be subsidised because they were a lot cheaper than anywhere else I've been. There's no hot food service here, which is to be expected for a place of this size.
All in all a strange layout (I don't think they get a lot of outsiders there, and deal mainly with the Arla dairy across the road) but is certainly one of the better RDCs I've been to.
