Comment: Like most Sainsburys RDCs this one has the booking in system at the gate, and like most Sainsburys RDCs it only takes your details and rarely gives you a bay to use, so drive round the Transport Office and hand over your paperwork in exchange for a bay.
Although against site policy my advice is to stay in your cab. The Drivers Lounge is OK but there's a only a couple of tables and the benches have no cushioning, and you could be there for quite some time, especially if it's the weekend. There are two vending machines serving paper cup drinks, but they're over-priced and not much better than dishwater. The toilets are reasonable, but are shared with the office staff and the warehouse staff too and they certainly aren't the cleanest.
The office staff are usually OK and are helpful.
